About the role

The Shoalhaven Northern Aquatics Team are currently seeking a motivated and suitably qualified applicant for the position of fitness instructor.

This specific role you will be required to provide excellent customer service to Shoalhaven Swim & Fitness Facility clients and members of the public.

Duties

Reporting directly to the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre Coordinator the focus of this position is to:

  • Undertake development and professional delivery of high quality and innovative exercise programs aimed at client needs.
  • Complete accurate records of class numbers are maintained and reported to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain equipment provided in line with operational guidelines.

Skills & Experience

  • In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:
  • Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor)
  • Experience teaching Group Fitness Exercise classes
  • MOSSA (or equivalent) trained, or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award (CPR)

This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check. Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained.
