About the role

Successful applicants will join Shoalhaven Councils casual Administration pool and may be called upon to work in various areas across Council reporting to various supervisors. Please note shifts are not guaranteed

Reporting directly to the Personal Assistant – Director – City Development, the focus of this position is to:

  • Providing high quality administrative support, such as preparing documents and reports.
  • Communicating with the general public, Council staff and other stakeholders. This may be by telephone, face to face, or via written and email correspondence
  • Provide high quality first response customer service for the Section and direct enquiries to the appropriate officer in a timely manner.
  • Meeting administration duties.

Skills & Experience
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Cert III Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in an Administrative role
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to unfamiliar circumstances whilst providing high-level support to the various stakeholders of Council.
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
