About the roles
There are 2x permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm positions working 35 hours per week. These positions are located at the Bomaderry Works Depot
Council is seeking two Asset Engineering Officers to join the Roads Asset Team to manage the broad portfolio we manage. One role will have a focus on the Rural roads portfolio which encapsulates the Rural Road network and associated infrastructure including but not limited to Rural sealed and unsealed roads, Fire Trails, open drains, Shared User Path (SUP) network and associated Heavy Vehicle permits.
The second role is aligned to Coastal, Estuary and Natural Area built assets including but not limited to Waterways infrastructure i.e., boat ramps and jetties, Navigation canals, Foreshore protection and Flood Mitigation infrastructure.
The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

This is a grade range position, therefore in accordance with qualifications, accreditation, experience and demonstrated skills, the prospective employee will be assessed as either Grade 11 or 12.
Grade 11 – Salary: $93,592 - $106,297 p.a. plus 11% Super
Grade 12 – Salary: $99,364 - $113,228 p.a. plus 11% Super
