Reporting & Data Management Analyst

About the role
This is a permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm position working 35 hours per week. This position is located at the Nowra Administration Building.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

Duties
Reporting directly to the Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Project Manager, the focus of this position is to:

  • To manage, develop and support data and analytics capabilities across Council with a focus on promoting data-driven decision making.
  • Work within the Information Systems and Technology project team to deliver data solutions, including data preparation, migration, reporting and dashboard requirements. 
  • Contribute to project solution design and execution of associated solution test scripts, training of team members and final solution acceptance.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in the position, you will possess:

  • A Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an IT Data Analyst, with experience working on large, enterprise level IT transformation projects.
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
  • Class C Driver’s License
