Casual Precinct Cleaner

About the role

This vacancy will be open until the end of January 2022 for all casual Precinct Cleaner positions at all locations. When applying for the position you will have the opportunity to choose your preferred location.


Reporting directly to the Precinct Coordinator, the focus of this position is to:

  • To provide cleaning and property maintenance of Council buildings and assets, including park amenities, playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment, skate parks, rotundas and BBQs or as directed by the Precinct Coordinator
  • To perform general maintenance, gardening & land care as required.

NB: Those roles dedicated to amenities cleaning will primarily be focused on cleaning activities. From time-to-time duties will be interchanged to meet operational requirements.

Skills & Experience

In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) and/or 3 years demonstrated experience in commercial/industrial cleaning.
  • Current National WHS Construction Card (WorkCover).
  • Class C Driver’s Licence (Class MR or LR licence desirable).

This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check. Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained.
