About the role
This is a permanent, full time, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm position working 35 hours per week. Located at the Nowra Administration Building.


Reporting directly to the Manager – Environmental Services, the focus of this position is to:

  • Provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to facilitate a high standard of customer service for the Department Manager and Team.
  • Effectively coordinate the administrative workflows in the Department to achieved deadlines and meet customer expectations.
  • Undertake projects and research on behalf of the Department Manager.
  • High level administrative and financial support to the Department Manager.
  • Reception function for the Department Manager.

Skills & Experience
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Certificate IV in Office Administration/ Secretarial Studies or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative and financial support to senior management or a section/ unit/ team
  • Demonstrated ability in project/ event coordination
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
